Dublin Leisure Centre

We were contracted by Dublin City Council to design and install a new speedlane system into a Dublin leisure centre to facilitate the entry and exit of building users. This was a retrofit project as the previous solution was no longer functioning. Based on the needs of the facility we elected to use our Quantum speed gate which is the fastest open and close speed gate on the market capable of facilitating up to 55 persons passing per minute. This makes it the ideal solution for sites with high visitor flow rate. This model offers low power consumption, low noise, smooth bi-directional operation and also supports integration with any type of access control system. Based on the clients’ requirements we provided door / arm height of 1800mm from the ground across three lanes, two of which were at a standard 570-580mm width, and the third extends to 900mm to facilitate access for wheelchairs, pushchairs or visitors carrying luggage. The classic monochrome finish with black and white elements and transparent arms provides an elegant and timeless aesthetic perfectly suited to a modern leisure centre.
