Project Overview
This project involved the renovation and extension of an existing Georgian property in Dublin. We were specified by CODA Architects to provide a slimline steel glazing system for the kitchen / dining and reception areas. Our solution was the MHB SL30 system, offering the minimalist profiles and performance characteristics desired by the architect and client. As part of the kitchen / dining extension area we created “clere-storey windows” with the MHB system which were automated with actuators to allow for air ventilation. The MHB system was chosen for its super slim steel profiles, it thermal properties and its aesthetically-pleasing design and finish. The large glazed areas allowed maximum light to travel in through the family areas while availing of the beautifully pruned garden views.

HSE Acute Mental Health Treatment Centre
The design brief was to provide an anti-ligature handrail solution across the corridors of the centre as part of measures to reduce the risk of harm to vulnerable users. The handrails used have been specifically developed for use in mental health applications to aid in the prevention of self-harm and reduce the risk of ligatures.
Dublin Leisure Centre
Based on the needs of the facility we elected to use our Quantum speed gate which is the fastest open and close speed gate on the market capable of facilitating up to 55 persons passing per minute. This makes it the ideal solution for sites with high visitor flow rate.
