Spectacular coastal views enhanced with Sky-Frame

Project Overview

We worked closely with prestigious UK Architect firm CF Moller Architects on this brand new domestic property project. The client was looking for a very slimline system that would allow them to harness the view without the disturbance of thick or intrusive profiles. A unique and interesting element of the design encompassed a glazed corner window standing out of the property almost like a floating glass box overlooking the sea. We brought this vision to life with the Sky-Frame Inline system, a fixed glass system which imitates the Sky-Frame profiles of the adjacent sliding window system, allowing the owners to take in the spectacular view overlooking Long Island near Schull Harbour on the coast of Co. Cork. Due to the location of the property, the profiles were anodised to coastal specifications. While there were no specific or very unusual performance requirements of this project, Sky-Frame still offers users a high level of performance compared with rival systems. In this instance it was the minimal sight-lines and slim profiles that made Sky-Frame the optimal solution for the design team and their client.
