Project Overview
1 Georges Quay underwent a major refurbishment as the original Irish Life building, delivering a high specification, 12,500 sqm. of Grade A office space along a superb waterside location, right in the heart of Dublin City Centre. We were specified by BKD on this prestigious project, providing a slimline, aesthetically-pleasing and functional internal glazed screen and door package on each floor to meet the fire protection requirements (EI 30). As part of this solution, we provided integrated hardware and access control package which was in turn linked into the buildings main fire alarm system.

Delivery Hub Athlone
This was an upgrade project at a delivery hub in Athlone. The client faced a dual challenge of improving security measures while ensuring a wheelchair-friendly environment within their premises.
HSE Acute Mental Health Treatment Centre
The design brief was to provide an anti-ligature handrail solution across the corridors of the centre as part of measures to reduce the risk of harm to vulnerable users. The handrails used have been specifically developed for use in mental health applications to aid in the prevention of self-harm and reduce the risk of ligatures.
Dublin Leisure Centre
Based on the needs of the facility we elected to use our Quantum speed gate which is the fastest open and close speed gate on the market capable of facilitating up to 55 persons passing per minute. This makes it the ideal solution for sites with high visitor flow rate.
