Project Overview
We supplied a full ironmongery package to the new 100-Bed Community Nursing Unit and Day Care Centre at Tymon North. This project consists of the construction of a new two/three-storey building (approx. 8,000 sqm.) and associated site works. Based on the project specification we elected to use our grade 316 stainless steel modus range of door hardware for a durable, long-lasting, aesthetically-pleasing and high quality finish.

Based on the needs of the facility we elected to use our Quantum speed gate which is the fastest open and close speed gate on the market capable of facilitating up to 55 persons passing per minute. This makes it the ideal solution for sites with high visitor flow rate.
Kinsale Community Hospital
For this healthcare project, Todd Architects designed an extension to an existing facility, Kinsale Community Hospital, to include internal alteration and refurbishment works, as part of the HSE Cork Community Hospital Bundle. The project was designed to provide a ‘Step Down’ facility to move patients from the main hospital into a community facility closer to home to continue their care.
