Project Overview
We worked closely with the design team and contractor on this superb domestic property in Dublin which is due for completion in Summer 2021. The project featured an array of highly bespoke finishes throughout which made the MHB super slim steel profile glazing the ideal solution to achieve the large expanses of glazing in a mondrian style across the property. The client elected to use the MHB SL30 ISO window and door system throughout the spectacular redevelopment of the existing house. The MHB windows and doors are double glazed, fully insulated, thermally broken and aesthetically-pleasing, providing a stunning panoramic view of the mountains surrounding the house. Every detail was carefully considered on this bespoke property design and the MHB system enhances it further allowing the owners to take in the surrounding views and maximize the flow of natural light into each space.

For this healthcare project, Todd Architects designed an extension to an existing facility, Kinsale Community Hospital, to include internal alteration and refurbishment works, as part of the HSE Cork Community Hospital Bundle. The project was designed to provide a ‘Step Down’ facility to move patients from the main hospital into a community facility closer to home to continue their care.
Concealed door & ironmongery solution for refurbished historical building
The €3.7million project involved the refurbishment of the historical James O’Neill building in Church Square, originally an Old Mill, which dates back to the late 19th Century. The library has been carefully and beautifully designed to sit inside the original shell of the Old Mill building, creating a modern, bright space whilst still maintaining the original charm of the Stone building.
