Integrated ironmongery and automation package for modern healthcare facility

The HSE acquired a vacant four-storey office building in West Cork in early 2023 and worked with Flynn Construction and Reddy Architecture & Urbanism to transform this into a new multi-million enhanced community care (ECC) centre that will treat older people and those with chronic disease closer to home.

We were sub-contracted by main contractor Flynn Construction to supply a full ironmongery package to this project. We utilised a modern, durable stainless steel range suitable for high use healthcare environments. We also provided internal door automation, automating all timber doors leading off the main stair core. We installed GEZE EMD-F low energy swing door operators with full safety sensors and finger guard protection to facilitate the easy of access and movement of staff, patients and other building users.
