Project Overview

We worked closely with Architects Carr Cotter & Naessens on this refurbishment of an existing listed building in the heart of Limerick city. It was of great importance that all work was carried out with utmost care and attention in order to ensure the architectural integrity of the building was retained. The project included the completion of new and partially constructed commercial office buildings, the demolition of an existing building and the refurbishment of three others. The completed development boasts nearly 7,500 sqm. of Grade A office space. We created a bespoke main entrance door from the restored main lobby area of the building into the new commercial lobby. Internally we supplied and installed a range of glazed, steel-framed fire-rated doorsets with integrated hardware using the Schuco Jansen system offering both functionality and aesthetically pleasing design and blending in sympathetically to the original style and era of the building. Above the glazed double door systems in the basement are we created bespoke arched windows with a slim steel profile using the impressive Schuco Janisol Arte system. These curved frames where designed to fit into the existing brick arches of the listed building. We also supplied a full door hardware and ironmongery package for all internal timber doors for the project as part of the architects specification.
