New entrance provided to historical listed building

Montalto Estate, offering heritage and natural beauty for visitors, is nestled beautifully in the heart of Co. Down, and a very popular spot for visitors far and wide. Our Service & Maintenance team in Northern Ireland were contracted by the client to remove two large windows in the Visitor area and replace with two sets of double aluminium doors to create a new visitor ticket entrance for the facility.

The historical nature of the building meant that the existing windows had to be removed with the utmost care and the new doors had to be carefully installed to ensure no damage to the existing framework.

The result is a swing operated, modern entrance system to suit the growing needs of the facility without compromising the original charm and splendour of the building.
