Project Overview

We worked closely with the design team and main contractors on the recent new VHI 360 Health Centre in Carrickmines, Dublin, which offers state-of-the-art healthcare facilities with Urgent Care, Paediatrics, diagnostics, home care, minor injuries clinic and health check areas spread across 5 floors and 5,405 square metres. We supplied and installed a glazed corner porch style entrance from the carpark up to the main building reception using a powder-coated steel profiled glazed system with double automated entrance doors to facilitate the smooth and safe entry and egress of building users. The glazed screens and doors used were a combination of EI90 and EI60 offering both integrity and insulation protection with integrated hardware and automation on the door leaves. Due to the excessively thick fire-rated glass in the door leaves we used heavy duty automatic operators to facilitate the weight of the panels which ranged from 80kg up to 240kg.
