Multiple works for new, €250 million leisure resort
The eagerly anticipated forest resort built at a cost of nearly €250 million in Longford forest was completed in Summer 2019. Centre Parcs is set among 400 acres of Irish woodland, and consists of 466 self-catering lodges and 30 apartments, up to 100 indoor and outdoor activities, and 10 restaurants. We supplied all door hardware and ironmongery accessories for this project to blend in with the design teams desired aesthetic and to provide reliable and durable functionality for the level of perceived usage. We also supplied and installed door automation systems in the communal and public-access areas. Due to the nature of the project and its intended users, we elected to use the GEZE EMD-F low energy operators, designed to allow ease of access for users of all abilities.
