Project Overview
A performance spec for high quality security-rated steel doors was originally drafted by the Architects – We successfully secured the tender with our provision of KCC security-rated steel doors with integrated panic hardware from Exidor, utilising the 700 series system. This £105 million project involved the redevelopment of three of Belfast City Councils Leisure centres and was designed and built by Heron Brothers. All three leisure centres were worked on simultaneously. The Robinson Centre was completed in mid 2019 and both the Andersontown and Brook Leisure Centres are due for completion before the end of 2019.

Based on the needs of the facility we elected to use our Quantum speed gate which is the fastest open and close speed gate on the market capable of facilitating up to 55 persons passing per minute. This makes it the ideal solution for sites with high visitor flow rate.
Kinsale Community Hospital
For this healthcare project, Todd Architects designed an extension to an existing facility, Kinsale Community Hospital, to include internal alteration and refurbishment works, as part of the HSE Cork Community Hospital Bundle. The project was designed to provide a ‘Step Down’ facility to move patients from the main hospital into a community facility closer to home to continue their care.
