Service Engineer – Automated Doors and Access Control

KCC Group are a market leader in the provision of supply, installation and of the following products – Glazed Screens & Doors, Fire Resistant Glazing Systems, Facades & Window Systems, Steel Security Doors, Door Hardware, Automatic Doors, Movable Walls, Fire Door Inspections, Access Control and more. As part of our continued growth an exciting opportunity has arisen for the addition of another Service Engineer to join our busy Service Department.

Key Responsibilities

• The repair, service and installation of door automation and access control systems to our many clients across the public and private sector
• Attending to callouts as an when required and have a flexible approach to working hours / area
• Recommending appropriate upgrades / repair work and advise the office of the requirements
• Operating as part of the on-call rota covering out of hours
• Ensuring all company procedures are followed
• Ensuring the company van is kept in good clean condition and stock is maintained
• Ensuring that uniform and PPE equipment are worn at all times

Essential Requirements

• 2 years’ previous experience as a Service Engineer
• Working knowledge of various manufacturers automatic door products
• Ability to repair, service and install to a high standard
• A basic understanding of access control equipment – training will be given
• Good communication skills and ability to represent the company in a professional manner
• Hold a current and relevant CSR card
• Hold a current full driving license
• Consideration will be given to time served Electricians, Security Installation Engineers, Lift Engineers, etc – full training will be given
