KCC Architectural has its origins in the 1998 management buy-out of the Ingersoll Rand Groups Irish operation. Since then, KCC has become the leading provider of door and access solutions, specialist glazing and partition solutions, and architectural hardware.

In 2005, KCC acquired Skelly Doors, changing the name to Skelly Opening Solutions in 2007. With over 35 years in the Irish door market, Skelly Opening Solutions was a forerunner in the supply of opening solutions for fire, security and environmental requirements.

In 2008, KCC expanded further with the takeover of MMF Architectural in Mullingar. Whilst widely acknowledged as specialists in stainless steel fabrication, MMF have extensive knowledge in designing and fabricating in aluminium, mild steel and brass. In addition to working with a range of complementary materials such as wood, stone, marble and glass.

KCC Door Hardware & Security Solutions, Skelly Opening Solutions, and MMF Architectural merged together to form one company, KCC Architectural, offering the total solutions package.

KCC open our Middle East office, expanding our international presence.

Sky-Frame, the Swiss manufacturer of high-end, ‘frameless’ aluminium glazing, select KCC as their distribution partner of choice for the Island of Ireland.

KCC subcontracted to manage the oversized Schuco Jansen Steel Glazing Systems in the prestigious Newport Street Gallery project which won the “Best Cultural Building” award in the 2017 Schueco Excellence & Innovation awards.

KCC partner with MHB to supply their highly innovative, unique, slim profile, elegant façade, window, door and internal glazing steel systems. KCC are MHB’s official, and only, partner in Ireland and Northern Ireland.

KCC completed a project working with Henry J Lyons Architects and Walls Construction on the prestigious Central Bank of Ireland’s new headquarters in Dublins Docklands to supply and install bespoke high-security doors, with stone overcladding and decorative louvre finishes to blend in with the overall design intent of the project.

KCC partner with internationally recognised brand to deliver a wide range of automatic door systems to suit every application.

KCC awarded contract to design, fabricate and install a bespoke façade that was in keeping with its historic Georgian surroundings for the highly prestigious redevelopment project of the old ESB Headquarters on Fitzwilliam Street, Dublin.

Recognised as a Gold Standard winner at the Deloitte Best Managed Companies Awards 2019.

Launch of KCC 360 service – an end-to-end, intelligent, highly-detailed, project specification and scheduling solution that helps architects and contractors spend far less time on design, speeding client approval time, and reducing risk.

Change of name from KCC Architectural to KCC Group, a step to more clearly represent who we are and what we offer.

Recognised as Platinum winner at the Deloitte Best Managed Companies Awards 2020
